Micropolis informs and assists SMEs with EU project proposal preparations, especially in the 7th Framework Programme, which is applied for directly from the European Commission. The FP7 programme offers SMEs funding for research and development activities, preparation of prototypes and subcontracting of research and development. The programme is also an excellent tool for SMEs to expand their networks with companies, research institutes and universities outside Finland.
